My 2nd surgery under Dr. Mitcherling and I must say he and his staff are exceptional. Thanks again, I'll be back for my final 2.
Check in to check out, the entire staff is amazing!
I absolutely adore Dr. Clayton, and his nursing staff was amazing. However, we were there getting tubes for my 2 year old, first time ever receiving anesthesia. At the end of surgery, Dr. Clayton came out and explained everything to us. When we went in the back to get our daughter, she was extremely confused waking up from anesthesia. Whoever was with her when she woke up with had no desire to calm her down. I attempted to calm her down and whoever was with her (not sure if it was a nurse or not) handed us her blanket and was like “just exit through this way” and showed us the door. I get that the center has back to back surgeries, but they didn’t even give us a second to calm her down which led to her screaming the entire way home from confusion. I wish they would’ve given us a few minutes to calm her down first. Within 3 min of her waking up, we were out the door.

Medical Experience was definitely a 5. Front Desk receptionist was great too. However, I had not received the bill in advance - I have Comcast, and often if something is system-generated, it gets bounced and I don't get notified and sender doesn't get notified. Thus, I didn't know there was an error in my paperwork, indicated a cost until I arrived. My Medicare number had been entered incorrectly, and noted as Medicaid. My home phone was incorrect - the phone number noted was my PCP's phone number, and my home phone was noted as my cell. Luckily the receptionist was able to make the corrections in the system, call someone to send the claim through - which showed I didn't owe a balance - and print out a new document with the information corrected.
